Ayous and Wawa are the commercial names for the botanical species ‘Triplochiton scleroxylon K. Schum<\/strong>‘. Which belongs to the Sterculaceae family and is from tropical Central and West Africa. There are other variants of this species such as Samba from Ivory Coast and Ob\u00e9ch\u00e9 from Nigeria, yet Belgium imports only Ayous from Cameroon and Wawa from Ghana. <\/p>\n By nature, Ayous has durability class 5.
