STEICO LVL

STEICO LVL is laminated veneer lumber with dimensional stability, strength and load-bearing capacity. It consists of multiple layers of approximately 3mm thick pine and spruce veneers glued together. Thus, imperfections are evenly distributed across the cross-section and you get a homogeneously constructed product. This makes STEICO LVL one of the strongest wood-based building materials.

It was developed by STEICO. A company specializing in environmentally friendly building materials.

Do you want to build your building sustainably, efficiently and ecologically? Then STEICO LVL offers the solution.

Types of STEICO LVL

Steico LVL R

With STEICO LVL R, all veneer layers are glued longitudinally. This gives you a high-quality material that is ideal for structures that require large spans and minimal deflection.

Applications of STEICO LVL R: ceiling beams, rafters, primary support beams such as purlins and joists, stiles, top and bottom rails, beam stiffeners and much more.

STEICO LVL X

In STEICO LVL X, about one-fifth of the veneer layers are cross-glued. This increases carrying capacity when used as a sheet, shape stability and stiffness.

Applications of STEICO LVL X: edge beams, stiffening roof, floor, and wall formwork, load-bearing roof and floor formwork, trusses, slender roof overhangs, curved building elements and much more.
